I admit I didn't like it the first time through but found it got better after repeat viewings.

"Cultural zeitgeist", "triangles are symbols", "meta meta meta", "ironic irony", "i can't explain how exactly i have tricked myself into liking this movie so instead i will make indefensible generalizations like 'if you dont like it you dont get it'"

Agree, this movie was pretentious and boring - 'Spring Break foreverrrrr!' whooo that's SOOOO deep! There's nothing here to 'get' it was just a boring film with no interesting characters and a very basic plotline.

There is nothing to "get". It's an incredibly shallow film, it has nothing new or remotely interesting to say. Yes, kids are really *beep* stupid. I'm so glad you wasted 90 minutes of my life to tell me that.

I feel like this movie is trying to tell us that Spring break can be really, really fun, more than the fact that kids are stupid. It seems to glorify more than satirize. Which makes it a far bigger piece of sh!t.
