Terrible movie! AVOID!
Don't bother watching this, it is just as bad as his last 3.

Don't bother reading this.
Either say why you didn't like it or keep this useless post to yourself.

Oh yes, very undateable.
What an incredibly informative and nuanced post.
shareYes, I was unlucky enough to already have seen this as I was pressured into going. It was Zzzzzz. But then I already hate the rambling of any Malick film.
It's like being stuck inside the mind of a depressed Alzheimer's patient.
shareeven if that were an accurate description, it still sounds like a unique and innovative experience. "seems" like you just have bland taste in cinema.
shareOoooooooo snap!
Geeee wiz, you really got me!
A depressed Alzheimer's patient sounds unique and innovative to you. XD
sharehaha have you seen a film wherein the mental state of a depressed Alzheimer's patient is fluidly portrayed..?
shareYes, but that's intentional so they expend effort into telling a good story of a depressed Alzheimer's patient.
What I'm saying is that watching a Malick movie is unintentionally like spending time in a depressed Alzheimer's patient.
It like you're in that patients head where you can hear his half unintelligible ramblings in his head that go on for 2
hours. It seems you would relish spending time in the head of someone who is unhinged, but I would rather be inside someone's mind that is coherent, conclusive and inspiring.
Look my friend, I'm sorry it upsets you that
I have an opinion that doesn't match yours but I'm entitled to my opinion just as much as you are. You can't force people to see things your way by berating and bullying them.
To be at peace, you have to accept that other people's opinions are just as valid as yours. The one infamous person that I can think of that literally forced people to agree with him is Hitler, and look how that turned out.
When you direct message people about their opinion, graciously accept that that's their opinion on a subjective subject such as movies and feel free to share your own, differing opinion without verbally abusing the person for thinking differently than you.
I'm European (and living here). By the way you aggressively insulted me, I came to assume you're American. That very behaviour you exhibited earlier is why Europeans have a certain unsavoury view of Americans as being rude and aggressive and going about as tourists thinking they are superior.
I'm just saying, my friend.
lol ok i just thought it was a silly analysis but i get your meaning. my intentions weren't to berate your opinion, i was just responding to it with my own. i did state that it SEEMS like you have bland taste in cinema..but i apologize for being a bit childish and rude. i was hesitant to post that, but then decided it wasn't such a big deal. i also don't associate with silly cultural cliches. i've met as many "rude" europeans as i have americans, my friend.
shareThat was very big of you to apologize and then, yet again you just HAD to be rude.
I guess you can't help yourself.
If I were angry like you....god! I think I'd have to get on some heavy duty Xanax or something. Don't you EVER just chill and let things just be as they are? Or do you spend your life like this, being argumentative and insulting?
I'm going to tell you something and it will change your life....you don't need to dual everyone that has a different opinion from you.
haha dude i have no idea how i was being rude in that last post..im sorry but you seem awfully sensitive for the wrong reasons..how do i even seem angry? i apologized for calling your taste in cinema bland, but to be honest, i didn't think you'd even take that seriously..boy was i wrong lol. it's actually rare that i ever dispute people's opinions, it's just your Alzheimer's comment seemed worthy of a tacky rebuttal..i really wasn't feeling any kind of way, i just felt like saying it lol damn. again..sorry for giving you the wrong impression jeez.
shareIt's all OK. Nothing to get worked up about. Ok nice talking to you.
You haven't seen this. And Tree of Life was a fantastic film, so that discredits your entire opinion. Some might like it.
sharei hated it. beautiful people, yes, but also very boring. that alzheimer comparison is true for me. i even fell asleep from time to time then woke up trying so hard to keep my eyes open...
shareWhere have you watched the movie ??? Still waiting for it to come up in my country.
What a lovely day
