But then (maybe what you're really getting at) why is this featurette not dubbed? Dunno, but as I mentioned in the 'release dates' thread, there will at least be some theatres showing it in English with German subs.
Other than blockbusters and kids films, strange that Germany seems to routinely dubs films, as most other European countries don't seem to ..
Yes, finally getting it to load my initial question is apparently answered. But beyond that, I have some experience with German dubbing when I've been ins Kino with friends or family and I've just found it (perhaps unfairly) to be terrible. The tonalities and phrasing seem to be so off. Is it because I already know what the actors really sound like? I'm sure it's difficult to capture the sonic sense of the original, while still producing something that sounds right to the German ear.
