Great movie, but
It didn't touch me emotionally like 'The Tree Of Life' or 'The New World'.
But I definitely liked it a lot. Terrence Makick is superb.

I'm not trying to be provocative here but could you be more specific on what you liked about this film? After I had seen it in the theatre, my only explanation for what this movie was trying to achieve was to drive home the message that you can be surrounded by beauty and still be bored out of your mind. I thought the film went a bit overboard with conveying this message. It didn't actually occur to me that the movie was trying not to be boring on purpose. Again, I'm not mocking or anything, I honestly want to understand how a completely different experience of this film would look like.

You didn't pay any attention to the movie ,didn't see it or you are trolling
The movie isn't complicated ,just watch the movie and pay attention.
It's not a movie for people who want action ,a thriller ,horror etc... this is a drama. share

Maybe I just bore easily. For example, people throwing trolling accusations around like candy when someone has a differing opinion despite me saying multiple times that I'm not trying to be provocative bore me beyond measure. People who can only conceive of two reasons why someone might have a different experience than themselves: 1) they are trolling or 2) they are stupid ... such people bore me quicker than I can say "blocklist." share
