Music

I found the music extremely evocative--much of the classical music was of the "I know I've heard that before but I'm not sure what it is variety." For anybody else who had the same impression, here is a fairly complete listing of the music:

Interesting that music from Peer Gynt was used throughout. Peer Gynt, the play by Ibsen, is about a man who does not know who he is (that is a criminally brief summary, but fairly accurate). The music by Edvard Grieg is fantastic and pretty well known--everybody knows Hall of the Mountain King, for example.

For me, the best piece www Kilar's "Exodus". It's a beautiful musical metaphor for growth and change in the context of the story. I was also enamored with the Debussy piece that represents Helen's mystique and ultimately unattainable presence.
