My god this was borderline torturous. I get Malick is a very artsy kind of director, and I'm a fan of most of his work. This film was just out there and the whole poetic voice over stuff is annoying . Almost 2hrs. of pure nonsense. Was Malick on acid or something during this ? I hope he's got this garbage out of his system . I feel bad for anybody that paid to see this film.
I get that not everything is for everyone, but man was this tuff to really get any enjoyment out of except for the hot women that Bales character is with that we are supposed to empathize with lol.

Well, I find it definitely to be far from Malick's best. However, I still loved this film and it grew on me after multiple watches.

And I was glad to pay to see a Malick film on the big screen. I saw it twice in theatres.

Why not shoot yourself in the foot, poke your eyeball out with a rusty fork and behead yourself. That's LESS horrible than having to watch this shyt movie even ONCE!

Yes, and just like every Malick film, it gets even better with every viewing.

That's good for you, you didn't like it. Personally I loved it.

Agree to disagree, Malick is a genius and we don't deserve him.

LOL.Have not seen it yet just dowloaded it. Love Malick.
