Great Show That Was Canceled Way Too Soon
I really enjoyed this show, definitely one of the most original and entertaining shows to come out in the past twenty years.
I don't think Fox gave this show enough of a chance to make it, for one the scheduling for Thursdays was rough (it went against the top-rated 'Blacklist), some of the episodes were aired out of order and the way it was advertised didn't do it justice.
I hope that Netflix picks up this show because it seriously deserves a 2nd chance, it had great talent, a very clever, funny, exciting and captivating story-line, not to mention a new and unique setting which isn't seen much in Hollywood, the Pacific north-west.
I'd be fine with amazon or Hulu picking it up as well, I just want to see it continue and get the time it earned, which is at least a few seasons.
I'm tired of all the formulaic procedural shows like 'Law & Order', 'Chicago P.D.', they're all rinse and repeat of the same exact story and characters and never really deviated from that recipe. 'Backstrom' was a flawed anti-hero but not without redeeming qualities and his backstory left us wanting more. Here's to originality.
