Why did Pixar bother to make Inside Out?

I don't get why Pixar chose to make Inside Out. Because to me the storyline was not made for children because it dealt with serious subjects such as moving and emotions and I cannot see why the subject matter is suitable for children. Let's face it families especially ones with young children move to a new house sometimes but I know it can be scary for kids. I also noticed the design of the characters namely Joy and when I first saw Joy she reminded me of a mascot for a commercial and it seems that they copied Disgust's outfit from Laverne And Shirley because Laverne used to wear a L belt like Disgust's D belt. The only other thing I found wrong with Inside Out is that why they make Bing Bong disappear at the end? I mean they could've let him stick around to help Joy and Sadness stop Riley from running away and they could've had Bing Bong be in the movie a lot more because he was a great character and deserved more time. Fear I found to be one of the most neatest characters but it seemed that they modeled him after Doctor Who actor Matt Smith because of his bowtie but Fear BARELY was not shown enough and got less screentime than the other emotions did. Why I think Inside Out was made was to jumpstart the careers of SNL stars Amy Poehler and Bill Hader and I also can't figure out Lewis Black was chosen to voice Anger because he is a comedian for adults not children and someone better could've voiced Anger. Phyllis Smith was so great as Sadness but I have never seen her in another sitcom but she brought a unique drama queen personality to Sadness. I really think parents should take caution when children see Inside Out because some parts of the movie are really sad for kids

It's a family movie, so not just for little kids. But I will ask why a kids movie cant be sad? Disney has had some real tear jerkers. Bambi. Old Yeller.

I think a movie like this helps a kid to understand that they do have different emotions and that it's okay to feel all of them. It's also okay to let go of some memories, like Bing Bong. Also, Matt Smith's doctor is far from the only character to wear a bowtie, and just because someone has done comedy for adults it doesn't mean they cant be in a movie for kids. Umm Robin William's genie?

So, now the subject of MOVING is traumatic and too dark and disturbing for kids?? Uh, you know it was a central plot point in Toy Story too, right? But moving is too scary a topic for kids, are you freaking kidding me?? My gosh...

As for the rest, I really feel you're just reaching for reasons not to like this film. Get a life, snowflake.
