thoughts on the film?
I would say that the film was decent if not the greatest thing I saw.
shareMy thoughts were on how I would like to nail Kathleen Robertson.
shareIve been in the army and i cant help some stuff. Like the guy with the beard and the long hair, do they allow that on the us army? Fighting in their sleeping quarters?
When their superior enters the room they stand like their homie just walked in, hands in the pockets and *beep* They should be standing attention.
And i am only half way through the movie lol
I wondered the same thing, so I checked into it and found this:

Makes sense...
A lie has many variations... the truth, none.
The simple answer is, in the special operations community, there are more lax standards for dress, grooming and military courtesy. Special Operations forces, in most countries, are permitted to blend into their area of operation, both in dress and grooming.
Additionally, at least in the US, all special operations personnel in a given branch train together, regardless of rank. Ergo, a Navy officer and a Navy enlisted man will train together in BUD/S, where rank isn't recognized except in certain instances.
There is a time and a place in these communities for traditional military courtesy, but it's few and far between. It's no uncommon at all for enlisted and officers to go out drinking together, vacation together, etc.
Another good movie i found on Netflix that went under the radar.
***** YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY *****
I think it was pretty decent. Not into war movies, but this was watchable and even gripping at parts.
Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
