I was expecting that some will judge a film by its trailers here, on IMDb boards, but writing an article... really? Don't you think that you put yourself in a bad light by writing an entire text, judging the film which hadn't even been released yet only by its promo materials?
Yes, marketing. To try sell you a product. You judge what they present to you and if you don't like what they're offering based on their presentation, then you don't buy their product. It's a fairly simple concept. Trailers exist to be judged.
Most modern movies have decent trailers, even misleadingly good trailers, they've got the formula down pat for the most part. The really bad trailers are usually for old movies. And that's why they have 3 and 4 trailers and TV spots and all that stuff for movies now. So if one's bad, chances are something else will look good. So far Assassin's Creed is 0-2.
I'm still waiting for you to give me one PG movie in the last decade that was full of "bloodshed". As a "hardcore AC fan", you'll know what "bloodshed" means.
Nonsense, stop avoiding the question. Because that's what Assassin's Creed is known for, a little "tiny ass bloodspurt". You said, and I quote,
"will have bloodshed"
And everyone knows, even you in your busted English knows that "bloodshed" means bloody violence on a massive scale, or on the scale of an Assassin's Creed game.
blood·shed ˈblədˌSHed/ noun noun: bloodshed
the killing or wounding of people, typically on a large scale during a conflict.
Stop playing semantics. There will be no "bloodshed" in this movie. You can stop deflecting my question and tell me "one recent PG movie that was full of 'bloodshed' then." Go ahead.
When Aguilar stabs and slices people in the full AC movie you will see blood. You will see blood spurting from there neck. Pg13 doesn't mean there isn't blood.
Name one PG movie where you see someone visibly gets their throat cut and blood spurts out from it. I notice we're moving away from the notion of "bloodshed" now too, are we? Down from "bloodshed" to a little arterial spray? Okay. My question remains though, both of them. Either come back with an answer or don't bother.
You're equating what? A comically over the top nosebleed to slicing someone's throat open? Repeatedly, graphically and en masse like the Assassin's Creed games do. PG and PG-13 are the same thing, makes no difference. I know it's a discussion board, but I asked Ninja specifically, and have been for a while now, so why don't you let him answer.
Name one PG movie where you see someone visibly gets their throat cut and blood spurts out from it.
Anything even remotely close to this in a PG movie.
