Marion Cotillard
I don't think this will happen but I would absolutely love it if it turned out that she was playing the Main Villain in this movie.

shareI think she might be but her character will be revealed as such in the sequel if it happens. Irons seems the main villain of the first part of the franchise. Or maybe they can reveal her intentions in the very end. I don't like it because she already played a double character in Batman and the result wasn't nice so I hope she has another fate.

With the exception of her death scene, I actually thought that Marion Cotillard was pretty good as 'Talia al Ghul' in "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".
I'm not talking about performance but character development. Talia was very poorly developed on TDKR. And Miranda was boring as hell. Besides, French good girl who ends up being the villain is so cliché. I'll be disappointed if she accepted playing such a stereotyped role again. Please not another Talia. I hope she helps him or she's an assassin in the end. If she's like a powerful evil Goddess or a femme fatale I'll hate it.
shareWell does anybody else here have any thoughts or opinions on this subject ?
shareAt this point I'm just hoping her acting is ok. I think she has done great work in other films but judging by the trailer she's the weakest link in the movie. But no, I wouldn't particularly like if she turned out to be the villain. Too similar to TDKR.

LOL, All of a sudden I am starting to feel like I am the only person here that actually liked her as the Main Villain in "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".
shareThe issue isn't her performance Tom! It's her character that was completely wasted the whole film and it was actually boring until she revealed herself as Talia. Her awful death just finished badly an already poorly developed role. Nobody is perfect, Marion did a bad scene, it happens. I blame here the writers.
shareHey, don't forget about me! You're not the only one. At lease there are two of us.

Did it come out that she wasn't playing a "bad guy" in this movie? From the trailers it certainly looks like she's playing a villain.
"Truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth."
From the trailers I thought she was in league with Jeremy and was his scientist. Do any game players know who she is supposed to be?
1. BVS 2. TWS 3. Avengers
She plays an original character, so obviously even fans of the games like me can't know definetely who she really is and what role is she supposed to play. Considering that the plot of the movie seems like based on the plot of the very first game of the franchise, Marion's role might be considered comparable to Lucy, a scientist working for Abstergo and assisting the main scientist of the Animus project. She was revealed to be an Assassin and helped the main protagonist to escape from Abstergo, and assisted his trainings and finding of the artifact they both, Assassins and Templar, were seeking. But later, in the third chapter, she was revealed to be the double-agent of Knights Templar (Abstergo), so she was a villain. Marion can play some similar role in this, but her role in Abstergo is much higher than Lucy's, because she's not assisting somebody, but rather leading her own work with Animus and genetic memory.
Overall, I think that she will end up on evil side. It's more possible that the opposite.

I never got that impression from them.
She comes off like a sadistic scientist/psychotherapist that loves what she doing there. Maybe it's her voice/accent, but she sounds like "We are going to do marvelous things to you, to get what we want, and there is nothing you can do about it."
