Can it take out star wars ?

No. A big chance it will be the second best movie at the box office this year. But beating star wars? Nope

Being optimistic is a good thing, but the chances of this coming in at #2 for the year are slim to none.

Coming in at #2 for the weekend is within the realm of possibility, but it's hard to say without knowing final theater counts for this and Sing.
