Another Good Video Game Movie

I was rather surprised on seeing this that, much like Warcraft, the director and actors managed to stay focused on the overarching storyline of the game and translate it relatively well to film. That's not saying its without its flaws, but compared to earlier examples of movies based on games, I think we can all agree that AC managed to stick to its game storyline, managed to keep the story coherent, and have a solid ending.

Now looking through the comments some people may disagree with my assessment, but what people seem to be forgetting is that the games are not focused on some ancient figure, but on a modern guy living through his ancestor's eyes, which is exactly what this movie did. Unlike one of the games, a movie cannot spend hours on exploration as a game character in the past or anything like that, it has to stick to the story. Which in this case was Abstergo, as it has been in the games if people actually paid attention to the story beyond kill ancient people.

So overall I'd say much like Warcraft, this movie is a 7/10. Some weaknesses, but overall a solid movie.
