confusing title. I thought it was another Rocky movie.

How hard would it had been to keep out the word "CREED?" Maybe the producers were hoping to get many Rocky fans to fill the seats hoping for another Rocky movie. Good thing I dug deeper to discover it;s not ...but rather some BS shootem up cluster F.

Very hard because the name of the game franchise is Assassin's Creed since 2007.

reply

Lol yup. Kinda stupid to call the movie "Assassins"

reply

Iv'e never plaid the game either

reply

It's quite fun! If we were talking face-to-face, I would invite you to hang out with me and play it. Guess that's not really an option lol... unless you happen to live in Houston :)

reply

Nobody over 30 has ever heard of this. In fact , as a fun test , I asked 10 coworkers what this film title suggests. 7 of them thought it was the next Rocky-creed film.

The producers should have been creative and changed the entire title.

reply

No they shouldn't.

I know enough people over 30 that have played the game.

reply

I know about it and I'm over 30. Please, if you're still a gamer, even if you're over 30 and you haven't played the games, then you should of at least heard about it because they often get good reviews in a lot of gaming publications.

reply

I know quite a few people over 30 who not only know about the film's existence, but are even excited for it. This includes one man over the age of 60. So... I think the name is fine.

reply

Yeah I don't know what these people are saying. I'm above 30 and I never played the game but heard of it and do want to see the movie because I love action, sci fi and Fassbender <3 I think these are good reasons no?

reply

trust me...the general population over 30 has never heard of this. But they have heard of Apollo Creed.

reply

Trust me the General population over 30 knows exactly what Assassin's Creed is.

I thought the new movie "Silence" was a spin-off from the Jeff Dunham puppet show, where Ahmed was the star, sad to say that I was wrong. I wish they could stop with deceiving the audiences with all of these titles.

*OBVIOUS SARCASM*

This is a signature. Just wanted to point that out.

The fun thing is that even RottenTomatoes has mixed this one up with Creed, and there was a review on AC on this site already like a half-year ago! Thankfully they've cleaned this up.

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

See! I knew it!
