Bruges is like a fairytale...
Really nice review, glad to see that you liked it! Thanks for speaking out against the really horrible reviews. Like you said, it has character development and ending issues, but it is a far cry from being a bad, or even mediocre, film.

It was well acted and it strayed far enough from the games without forgetting the serie's core ideas, which wasn't an easy task (most game/book to movie adaptations fail in this aspect). It was entertaining. The only things that bugged me were the lack of blood during the fights and the constant transitions between Cal and his ancestor in mid-action.
