A solid independent film!

I just watched Hours and have to say I am surprised by all of the negative feedback. This film was shot on a miniscule budget but I enjoyed it more than most of the films I have seen this year that had 20 times the budget. I have never been a huge Paul Walker fan but thought he was perfect in this role. There are a limited number of flashback scenes that would have normally gotten on my nerves but seemed to have balanced out the film quite well in my opinion.

I am all for people expressing their opinions but also feel that if I were to read too far into the negative connotations I would have cheated myself out of a good film. So, if you like good independent films than ignore the negative reviews and give this one a chance. It's definitely worth a viewing and, if anything, you get the opportunity to see that Paul Walker can actually act when given the right role.

My thoughts exactly, except for the flashbacks, which didn't bother me at all.

Actually I was a bit annoyed by the 3 minute generator. Didn't seem very plausible to me that a huge and heavy thing like that could only sustain 3 minutes of low-power medical machinery. And if it would have a larger capacity, determined by the mechanical effort he'd invest in the lever, maybe longer but fewer spinning sessions would have tired him less. As in, charging 30 minutes at a time or something.
