Asinine 5/5 star reviews Google Play store

If you truly watched the movie and think it's that great, hey that's your opinion. Though I'm sure even the people who have watched it are rating it based on the passing of Paul Walker. What bugs me is reviews like this one example "*****BEST MOVIE EVER! I haven't seen it, yet. Lol, I know I'll like it because he wasn't a mediocre actor at all, he was strong in character, had an angel smile, and was very likeable."

This is just ridiculous, the freaking rating system is there to honestly review a movie so that people don't waste there time and money on mediocre movies. I watched Hours and thought it was pretty good...6.5 out of 10. I just cringe every time I see a review like the one above and there are plenty believe me. The movie has a full 5 star rating and far from it if you actually watch it and base your opinion on the film and not Paul Walker(RIP Paul)

I saw this film a like a month ago, and it was pretty bad. The only good thing about it are the performances.

It's more a 5/10 than a 10/10 if anything.

Highly agreed.

All ratings are subjective, regardless of the motivation behind them. Would you rather someone rate a movie low because they dislike an actor/director or the script? It sounds like you want reviewers to explain/justify their reasons for their rating, and if you don't like the explanation then you will discard their review. Here's a better idea: ignore the ratings entirely ! There will never be a ratings system without flaws. To expect one is unrealistic.
