Before I watched this movie, I had no idea what it was about.(I never looked at the trailers or reviews) The start seemed great, then it pretty much died out soon after. I was thinking it'll get good but it didn't....
The person pretty much stayed in the same spot the whole movie.
The ratings will go down to around 2-3 after it comes out unless all the females rank it 10 for some odd reason. The only reason I watched this was because it had ~8.8 ratings. Then it dropped(~5 and was dropping with more viewings) like I had predicted for this movie, but all of a sudden his death will cause it to rise again.
Damn, they give you a "ticking bomb" attached to a baby that repeats for the whole thing and that's not exciting enough for you. Do you work in an abortion clinic?
A ticking bomb that is the whole movie that is in the same spot while the dude does the same thing the whole movie... How is that exciting? I do not have to work in an abortion clinic to realize that. Thousands of other people know it is boring too.
When the movie releases, more people will too.zzzzz
"I had no idea what it was about" - you should have limited your post to this. I bet you still don't have any idea what it's about.
"The ratings will go down to around 2-3" - I could sleep at night like a log even if I knew this movie had a 1-star imdb/nameyoursite rating - this doesn't change a single thing about the movie.
It's not a boring movie, YOU were bored by it. I can accept that. Go watch some action flick, the boredom is YOUR problem.
I know what it was about. I incorrectly wrote what I meant. before I watched the movie, I had no idea what it was about. Everyone that did watched the movie knows what it is about, it doesn't take more than a 3rd grade education to know everything to know about this movie while watching since nearly all of the content of the movie is in 1 single location while the main actor did the same thing the whole time.
I don't care what you think or feel about the ratings, I just stated a fact. Who cares? If you didn't, don't mention it.
It IS a boring movie. YOU were NOT bored by it, we can all accept that. Continue watching this movie and movies like it, your enjoyment is on you. However, for the majority of the population, I would say, 95% of the population will find this movie extremely boring.
My husband thought it was boring also. l thought it was good for what it was. Second time was better, I paid more attention to the effort he put in the role and thought he did really well with what he had to work with.
I disagree, I thought it was a great film. You can't be serious, You thought the rating will go down to the 2-3 category there is no way it will go down that low. Its rating now(6.5) will be its rating for a while or at least go down to a 6.0. The 2-3s are the homes of all of Paris Hilton's films and Ulli Lommel's films, Not Hours.
If more people were bored enough to watch this movie, it'll drop. I'm 100% certain that it'll drop that low.
When I saw it, it was ~8.8 It dropped down to ~5 Then he died, it went up. But also released on demand and more cities. Most people know that it is a boring movie.
But you have to understand, When it was at a 8.8 it was probably only about 50-100 ratings so when more people seen it, you're right more people seemed to dislike it and when Paul Walker died it did seem to go up just a little bit but that is expected. I wouldn't be shocked if Philip Seymour Hoffman's films bumped up in the ratings a little more.
but i did watch http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1462758/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_15 "Buried" it's in the same location, it's like a long monologue and i have to say that it was enjoyable! i don't know if you watched it but i think you should to see that it's very doable to place one actor in one place and still make it interesting.
You didn't miss much after ending it before the ending. I am sort of an emotional guy, but this had no affect on me... More like, wtf? This sucked ass... 3-6 min movie stretched to however long this was..
