How this could have been improved...

Although this probably was a tearjerker for those feminine types, I think this movie focused far to much on a man spinning a wheel. They cut the wife's role very short by killing her off, and the entire time this dude is just spinning a wheel. As heartfelt as it may be, it just feel short. There there were things that were farfetched such as the nurse getting shot just before she reaches him with IV packs... I mean com on... are we really that gullible? This is a society of rape first, then murder. If anyone was gonna attack this woman, it sure as hell wouldn't be shoot first, but that's aside the point.

They could have improved this film by turning it into a thriller. The main character AND his wife, struggle to get their infant child, with no issues BTW, out of a chaotic turned hurricane tarnished New Orleans. A man doing anything necessary to protect his wife and child from the terror that has taken to the streets. Makes for a much better movie.

Yes at least it was not another stupid remake.

That would be a retarded movie with no plot it would have ended when they started to evacuate the hospital.
