The millennials get their version of Knight and Day.

shareI just saw the trailer and thought this movie just seems off. I like Anna Kendrick but she looks too young for the role, or at least the way they cast the rest of the film with obvious older actors. But then I thought, who would want a role so un-sympathetic in a film that looks so tonally inconsistent. Then when I looked it up online I saw it was written by the king of nepotistic largess: Max Landis. The biggest douche I may have ever seen online and the biggest hack writer I may have ever had the misfortune of seeing his films. I don't know how this guy keeps getting work. He's a terrible writer with flop film after flop film except for Chronicle, which before I knew who he was, didn't think was half as worthy pf the hype the film got. I wasn't even sure i had the right film because it was listed as 2015 which was odd since the trailer came out today. Guess they're trying to get as much money back as they can by forcing it onto the public with a theatrical release.
I really came to see who the blond was in the trailer because she looked familiar. Kinda like Cameron Diaz but like the OP said, this story has already been done and with Diaz. What a clusterf---.
So, you're judging a book by its cover, or in this case, trailer?
No offense, but you must have horrible taste in movies (I watch just about everything). I suggest you watch it, it has just the right mixture of action, romance and humor. I'm no writer, but I can't see anything wrong with this movie. It flows perfectly. Plus, Sam Rockwell is in it.
