Is Anna Kendrick a great actress or a mediocre person?

I've asked myself the question through a lot of movies with her but I was really mesmerised by this one. As a viewer, I usually love her performances and her characters, but they are the kind of anoying persons I would avoid in real life.

In the case of the movie Mr Right, I was wondering if she was trying to play cool and this is her idea of what is seductive, or she is intentionnaly playing a juvenile stupid and desperate for attention brat and she is so good at it that I'm wondering if she is like that in real life?

She has been an actor since she was a little girl. I think, paired with Sam Rockwell, she is excellent as this eccentric character, as is he. They make the cutest, deadliest couple! She has recently written a book...perhaps that would shed some light on her real self. I love her acting...always captures my attention when she is on screen.

She's thoroughly mediocre. This is an awful film, complete disaster.

Well, not really. It is what we call in literature a "farce" or what film people call "a black comedy."

It is supposed to be over the top and terminally silly and just real enough to give the viewer a couple of hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Please pass the popcorn!

If you are not personally entertained by such artistic excursions, I would suggest you try another film genre.

This film will become a cult hit in a few years a la Roadhouse, Galaxy Quest, Rocky Horror, etc.

You probably will still not care for it, but thankfully there are many other films out there that you can enjoy.
