Sequel to Becky (2020).
Three years after the events of Becky, Becky takes on a fascist organization.
Two years after she escaped a violent attack on her family, Becky attempts to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman - a kindred spirit named Elena. But when a group known as the "Noble Men" break into their home, attack them, and take her beloved dog, Diego, Becky must return to her old ways to protect herself and her loved ones.
I haven't seen the first film but I'm surprised it's managed to get a sequel. The first one got really hampered by COVID restrictions and was basically straight-to-streaming. We'll see how well this sequel does theatrically.
Is 'noble men' meant to be some 'proud boys' nod? Is this going to be some wish fulfillment thing where they make a movie with these proud boy stand-ins getting fucked up? share
