7/10 Solid drama/thriller/sci-fi/mystery
7/10
In short: Fresh, sci-fi drama/thriller(/mystery). Solid plot, probably good script, good acting and original character development.
In long: This as most movies of this sort falls if the acting is bad, luckily there is enough chemistry and good acting to keep you interested.
The way the plotline is woven is that the rationality of both the rational and irrational characters are illustrated as if it was rational (by giving us the view of the character in question). There is neither any real judgement on what is wrong and what is right so that the viewer gets to decide.
This is a good movie without the huge symbolic grandstand-moments but with personal ones where characters actually reposition themselves. Seing that in the cinema feels *beep* great (not sarcasm) - more movies with that in consideration would be good.
For me, few movies comes this far in the character development and it's visualisation and here the (most likely) good script is helped by good acting.
Pro's
Acting
Fresh rationalistic perspective
Viewer gets to decide what is right and what is wrong
Ambient sound
Con's
Some developments in the storyline could have been better brought forward - as when he manages to sort out the cameras, if he found a broken wire and sorted it, it would have made more sense (they've been there for a while, logically speaking they should have found it earlier even if the situation was pressed when so happened in the movie).
The stage could have been better; the electronical equipment did not match and considering the type of facility you would exspect a more grand stage (this is most likely due to budget - it didn't disturb too much though).
Ignorance is only a bliss if you haven't reached awareness.
