FYI, Nebraska does have a lighthouse

Lake Minatare, in western Nebraska, has one of our country's few inland lighthouses. Stephen Colbert even makes a reference to it in one of his books. I am a fan of this movie, however, they lost me on this point. I live on a family farm, with cattle, a few miles from a lighthouse in Nebraska.

I grew up in western Iowa, there is an inland lighthouse near a town called Storm Lake as well (kind of a "Welcome to Storm Lake" symbol. I thought that would have been a funny twist in the movie.

There is another in eastern Nebraska, as well. It's along Hwy 6 at Linoma Beach. It's between LINcoln and OMAha.
