Possibly the greatest work of comedy I have ever seen.

This should be marked highly, as a work of comedy.

It is either a fantastically scripted satire of 'Critical Theory' [a la The South Park episode The Story of Scrotie McBoogerballs'] or a hilarious documentary, in which the Director deserves credit for finding people to spout such gibberish with such sincerity to a microphone.

I was going to post this exact sentiment. Everyone bashing it for the silliness aren't getting that it's not meant to present these theories as truth, but as a satirical view on critical film theory.

This movie is more about the insanity of these interviews than the The Shining itself.
