Why wasn't Rob Ager in Room 237?

Mr Ager has done some amazing and thought provoking work studying and interpreting many of Kubrick's films (as well as many others). I find his analysis very watchable and although I don't agree with everything he claims I do find it very very interesting.

i wondered that too. I'm curious to see what he thinks about the some of the claims made in the film.

I think Ager is trying to take a more academic approach in his efforts and wanted to distance himself from the others.

In general, his deconstructive analysis of film is pretty good and well above being speculative jibber-jabber, but his own 'gold standard' take on it probably fits in right along with the other pareidolia induced theories.

In youtube commentaries he stated he was approached but declined.

Rob Ager is the man.

However, around hour 1:21:00, a screenshot appears of Rob Ager's Shinning analysis, "Mazes, mirrors, deception and denial."
