Looks like a bacteriophage to me.

When I saw that carpet, I though that was a great carpet for a horror film - but far too jagged for a real luxury hotel aiming to put all their guests at ease. Then there was the room where everything was in red. Superb!
One of the commentators mentioned the red room, but none noticed the carpet.
