Why did they use the Widescreen clips?
The movie was shot in 1.66 : 1 right? I know the Blu ray has been matted, but to do a documentary like this about the symbolism in the film, to use matted footage is ridiculous.
Shining was shot in 1.37 academy ratio and cropped to 1.85 for theatrical exhibition.
