Theories range from fair to pathetic

Red Volkswagen message to Stephen King makes a lot of sense. Hell even the moonlanding stuff has at least some merit with the Apollo 11 Danny was wearing. But the minotaur poster, the office window and the disappearing chair are simply cases of reading too much into mistakes and discontinuities. They wouldn't even be considered interesting if this was not a Kubrick film. Watching the movie backwards id in a class of its own in terms of obsession. I think the same guy who does it mentions at the end how he went too far with comparing his life experiences to the film. Enough said.

Agreed . . it takes a truly special mind to come to an epiphany that watching a movie backwards and forwards at the same time on the same screen is going to yield valuable new information and/or reveal secret meaning. If that dude and the minotaur lady ever procreated, I think they could possibly produce the single craziest (in a cute, benign way) human in history.

But the office window shouldn't have been there. It didn't make sense.

I agree with the rest.

Yeah I thought some of these people made really interesting observations and raised interesting questions. But then their theories tended to fall off the cliff into crazy town. Worse, though, some of them were just boring. One guy rambled on about the kid riding his tricycle for 10 minutes and never made any actual point. This needs a good half hour more edited out.

Most of the times movie or TV architechture makes very little sense, there's no real reason to read too much into it.
