I don't think I have ever seen anything as ridiculous as this 'documentary'. It is essentially a string of the thinnest most ridiculous theories I have ever heard. So ridiculous that I belive you could take this approach to any film. I did not see a single credible theory in the whole thing. I believe this is just an attempt by some to put themselves ont he same itellectual level as Kubrick by 'spotting' things only they and Kubrick would pick up on. Sometimes a spade is just a spade. To link the use of a german type writer to the holocaust or a poster of a skier to the Minotaur in the labrynth is just so fricking stupid its depressing. Talking of depressing, the delivery of each of the talking heads is so drole and slow and boring you would think they each had some kind of brain damage.I am amazed that anyone actually stumped up the finances to get this thing released. Utter crap best avoided.

I couldn't agree more! I wish someone would take the time to do a parody of this based on the original STAR WARS trilogy and call it "1138", find all those continuity and production mistakes and regard them as World-shattering secrets being revealed by a Mastermind beyond our collective comprehensive abilities...instead of just admitting that someone stole the Dopey sticker.

Maybe I am too simple minded, but I thought this movie was funny as hell. I might be doing what these people interviewed were doing and totally putting my own ideas into a film that were not meant to be there, but either this was one of the funniest docs I have ever seen, or one of the worst ones. Of course being one of the worst ones just makes it funny in a different way (think Plan 9 from Outer Space). My favorite lunatic was the guy who pointed out how The Shining proves that the Apollo 11 footage was faked and now the government will have it in for him for saying it on film. I was laughing out loud. If this was genuinely meant to expound these hidden meanings then I really feel sorry for this Ed Wood wannabe filmmaker but either way...thanks for the laughs.
