Apparently continuity errors are well thought out works of genius...

...which leads me to think Tommy Wiseau is the smartest man alive. I'm going to re-watch The Room now and see if I can link Mark's missing visor to the JFK assassination or the film's random jumps from day to night back to day to our governments's cover up of crashed alien space crafts.

The room is the greatest film of all time, every shot, every frame, every word screams perfection and occult meaning. Like that one scene where they show the wall paper, it's a metaphor for the interconnected, fractal universe and how we'll all just trapped in a room.

When Tommy yells "You're tearing me apart, Lisa!" it's actually a metaphor for the government's cover-up of the UFO crash at Roswell. He says he's being torn apart, just like the UFO itself was. The leading actresses character's name, Lisa, is an anagram for the Air Force Major in charge of the cover-up, Maj. Sail.

There are millions of these clues in the movie... BUT I'M ONLY GONNA SHOW YOU MY FAVORITE!

Also. if you look very carefully during the second roof scene, Denny's index finger briefly aligns with Tommy's crotch, making his finger appear to be Tommy's cock. GENIUS.

To be fair, the office is bizarre. Same with the TV that's not plugged in. Kubrick was obsessive, and was probably F-ing with our minds.

With all the disturbing things that occur, the office scene is one of the more unsettling things in the movie. Strange dynamics and atmosphere in the scene. In the novel, Jack is resistant/resentful of authority. Jack's POV of authoritarians is well-illustrated in this scene: it's uncomfortable and feels oppressive (like how the whites oppressed the Native Americans); the impossible window contributes to this feeling.
