NoseDive app did get launched and it was called 'Peeple'

Damn that was scary.

I think I remember something about it and thinking, at the time, that its a very, very bad idea.

It didn't take off but it is still available in the App Store. I think the show probably knew about it as they take a lot of inspiration from the the real world.

This is pretty much what I kept thinking about when watching the episode, for an episode it's a great concept but obviously it would never ever work in real life since people can be *beep* on the internet and basing your entire society around the concept of a personal rating is a terrible idea.

Only dream I ever have is it the surface of the Sun. Every time I shut my eyes it's always the same.

I wouldn't be surprised if social networking sites implemented this. The top 8 on MySpace wasn't too far off. I haven't even finished the episode but if something like this takes off I'm done
