Be Right Back - better than the movie Her
I only discovered Black Mirror at the weekend and saw Be Right Back first (domnall gleeson as a port-mortem AI). I thought it was amazing. I loved the naturalistic production design, the colours, the acting and writing, and how some huge lofty ideas and implications were delivered in such an understated way. It really got under my skin in places, thinking about various angles and possibilities to the ideas. Its so refreshing to see a complex idea and great story efficiently told in an hour rather than dragged out into a feature length like so many weaker stories these days. Can't wait to see the rest.
