Just one question: Are any of the new episodes as good as WChristmas?

I know they can't be AS good, because White Christmas, IMO, is one of the greatest episodes of TV, EVER. Simply brilliant.

So considering that episode a 10, how do the new 6 episodes stack up in your opinion from 1-10?

No spoilers please, we're going to start watching them tonight. I'm happy the secret of this great show is out.

peace.

Playlist is best by far. San Juripino [sic] is pretty good. Nosedive starts well, but goes nowhere. Hate if the Nation is terrible. Shut Up And Dance was just okay for me, but many on here seem to love it. Haven't watched the army one yet.

Playtest was horrendous.

Playtest and Nosedive were perfect for me, and I loved Shut up and Dance.

thanks for input, but do you consider White Christmas to be the best? Or what's your favorite?

reply

My favorite's probably 15 Million Merits, though I think Entire History of You, Be Right Back, and White Christmas are all top notch as well. None of the Season 3 episodes are as good as those four IMHO.

reply

I still consider White Christmas to be the best in terms of writing and really showing how interconnected the series is as whole.

I'm finding the new batch of episodes pretty horrible and predictible. Like they're afraid to 'dare' more.
I think White Christmas, The Entire History of You and White Bear will remain the top episodes of the series. Back then it used to be incredible!

Remember that the Christmas piece was a trilogy. With that said I believe that "Shut up and Dance","Hated in the Nation", and "Play Test" were all tied for the top spot- the others seem more like an after thought. And with that fact established those last three are better 90% of the tripe that Hollywood calls "original".

I honestly thought white christmas was one of the worst out of the bunch. Maybe aside from the Waldo episode.

I might watch it over again just to get re familiar.
but I thought every episode this season was at least somewhat engaging. Some better than others but all around good season

I read this in a chola accent.

The wifey and I watched The Xmas Special (All 3 stories were excellent) a month ago and the Waldo Moment segment reminded us both of a certain US Presidential candidate; life imitating art? or is it Art predicting life?

Wifey? Ugh you cringe. Life is futile.

Is that why you posted such a futile comment?

might be futile, but correct.

only an idiot would use the word wifey.

The Entire History of You is the best. Still. A real techno fear inducing *beep* I find it hard to watch.

I agree- it really hits home. The acting is top-notch. It reminds me of - well- me when I was in college. I was so insecure Thank God I grew out of it. ;) The WIFEY is glad as well.

None of the S3 episodes are as good as the best ones in the previous seasons, including the Christmas one. Still the series is highly watchable.

1/10

- don't worry, that's just my signature.
