Finished watching Black Mirror season 3 this morning, absolutely brilliant. Understand that the episodes are not connected in any way, they are all standalone stories, generally moral lessons...

Season 1 and 2 were both very short, 3 episode indie stories, but season 3 was picked up by Netflix and moved to the US, and doubled in size, and likely budget as well, and it shows. A budget well used I'd say.

Episode 1 stars Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World, The Help, The Village) and she's amazing.

Episode 3 stars Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones)

Episode 6 stars Kelly Macdonald (Boardwalk Empire)

Every episode standsalone perfectly, beautifully cast, with relevant stories that I thought were ultimately pretty damn near perfect.

I'd say definitely see this season, if you love Blade Runner, The Twilight Zone's Incident at Owl Creek Bridge, Dystopian themes...
this is for you.

I haven't finished the season yet (2 episodes to go) and so far it is not perfect. Nosedive was good until the wedding happened, Playtest sucked, Shut Up and Dance was great, and San Junipero didn't even feel like a black mirror episode. The last two could be great, but so far the season is good, but not perfect.

Totally agree. Season 3 was the best season of the series so far. The extra money that Netflix provided really showed.
