Did Kelly stay in San Junipero or not?
I'm confused. She was so against it, but then she's there with Yorkie during the credits.

shareYes, she stayed in San Junipero.
shareOf course she did, the two sensors showed close to each other were symbolizing Yorkie and her. I believe she ended up choosing to stay because she really couldn't believe in a religious/traditional afterlife, where she could have been reunited with Richard and Alison (late husband and daughter). Besides, she realized Yorkie found love for the first time by meeting her, and, unlike herself, who lived a full and meaningful life, she never had a chance to experience "Heaven on Earth". Great episode, by the way.

She did, but even after death, I don't understand why the choice is permanent. Since alive people can "visit", you'd be able to consult them on your "location" or whether you want to be unplugged (natural death).
Anyway, my favorite episode along with White Xmas.
The scene that shows all the "dancing" digital lights, which fades into dancing at the San Juperino bar is my fave of the series. I also think the closing song was so perfect, they set some of it in the 1980s just for congruency!

Yeah, it never was "permanent" like you had to live with your decision for all eternity. Yorker even makes a point to explain this during their argument.
shareit's not permanent if you don't want, when they argued the white girl specifically said she can leave anytime, is up to everyone
