Hated in the Nation ending

The ending didn't make sense to me. I feel like maybe I missed something big that made the episode so highly rated.

Hacker dude goes on the lam, and hacker chick finally tracks him down? MacDonald testified that her whereabouts were unknown, her stuff was found, and that its an assumed suicide (lied).

Is that it, she is going to "catch him" all by herself?

reply

That's what it looked like to me. I hope he hasn't made her back at the cafe.

1. She didn't lie about the waif committing suicide. She said 'that is the prevailing theory', which was true.

2. I don't think the waif has any intention of 'catching' him. I think she intends to kill him, which is why she faked her own death. No one would think to make a dead woman the prime suspect in a murder.

Or more importantly, she was able to get close to him because he thought she was dead. Koalas are telepathic. Plus, they control the weather.

reply

So, in the end. She became The Waif 2.0 :D

reply

I believe her intent was to kill him as justice for all lives he was responsible for. Since, he believed she was dead and no knew his whereabouts he believed he was free and clear.

reply

Attention, Attention. This is Miss Schuster. Please listen very carefully. A swarm of killer bees is coming this way.
