Max Richter

One of the things that made Nosedive such a great episode was the score. As with a lot of movies and TV, the score can make such a difference to the overall feel. Nosedive was such a great episode on so many levels, but the first thing I had to search after watching was who was the composer? It came as no surprise that it is Max Richter. I should have known.
To use the same piece of piano music for the first ten minutes then for the last ten minutes, when either end of the story had completely different tones. Wow, just amazing. How he has composed that piece to sound upbeat at the beginning yet a little more dark toward the end is just genius.
I hope more of you out there felt the same with how affecting the score was in relation to this episode. If you're not familiar with Maxs' work, then you should definitely check out a great short film called 'Lost and Found'. It's for kids, but I think it's the best score that Max has ever done.

Wow I had no idea. Im a huge fan of his. My first thoughts during the episode were "man, I really lIke this endless score and atmosphere going on."

It reminded me of the season finale of Game of Thrones, where it was just 15 minutes or so of great music.

I know every one seems to hate the episode but I really liked it. I think the wedding speech could have been better; she should've used it as a chance to insult her friend. Instead we only get one jab or so at her , for screwing her ex BF. I know she was very drunk, but the speech was sloppy and she was way too nice, which didn't make much sense to me.

I thought it was a hilarious eposide, despite being a bit corny. The exchange of insults at the end especially had me chuckling.

His work on "The Leftovers" is good also especially the song "The Twins" it gets played every episode.

Yes, that makes sense. I noticed the upvote/downvote sounds into the music and totally liked the idea, but did not look up the name. Richter is brilliant, The Leftovers would be a different show without the soundtrack (in fact I would go as far as to say, that the sountrack makes the whole show work).
