What does Men Against Fire remind me of?

Watching Men Against Fire seemed really familiar. I'm sure I've seen another TV episode or film based around soldiers' vision being augmented to mask the horror of the war their fighting. I just cannot think what it was. Anyone have any ideas?

Wasn't there a Twilight Zone episode with a similar theme? I can't for the life of me remember the name episode, I just remember seeing an episode a long time ago.

Could it be the 90's Outer Limits episode "Hearts and Minds"? The premise is almost identical.
