San Junipero will go down as one of the most amazing episodes of television in history.
Less than forget. But more than begun.

Its like say The Land Before Time, The Last Unicorn or The Little Unicorn.
Yes there is a happy ending, but its wrapped in loss, turmoil. Very conflicting, deep emotions. So its a sad-happy sort of duality. Bitter sweet.
Yeah, there's something underneath that bittersweet quality that touched me deep in my heart. I cried. Kind of like when Christopher Robin goes off to school and leaves Winnie the Pooh & gang. Loss of innocence. Maybe it's that Kelly & Yorkie suffered in their lives, as we all do, and in a way found their innocence again in SJ. And could be happy again for however long the machine lasts.
shareI saw it on opening day and I still think about it every day. It's sticking with me, it really made an impact. And I find myself at a loss that so many people here hated it and loved the sh!tshow police procedural that was "Hated in the Nation".

Yep after it finished my first thought was that's one of the finest hours of television I've seen in a looong time.
shareHaving JUST watched the episode, i felt silly that i was so emotional about this episode. i think because i thought of my passed mom, my own mortality and technology. Then im taking a religion class to boot, so my emotions are all in a swirl over this episode. i thought it was just silly time travel and BAM it gives me this. Great episode.
