I know the characters are meant to be American in this episode though. Perhaps an error on their part.

It's funny someone made a post about this minute detail because I was wondering why she said that. I was thinking he's called Greg? Is that not his actual name? Are more details forthcoming? Lol, silly American.

When she said that, I figured she was lying and making the whole fiancé thing up to avoid sleeping with her. It's such an awkward thing for an American to say.
