One of my fav episodes. The twist of troll faces was epic. Those "people" were serious douchebags! I like it not just for the bleak ending and the tragic desperation of the characters, but something you could actually infer; despite these people's lives being ruined and the bad things they did (which theyll have to pay for, definitely) there is still a bit of a consolation. Well they could show their phone records to the police/in their trials (whoever gets arrested, definitely Kenny anyway. He could mention there were others). Show them the records and explain everything. I mean why not, they've already been exposed to everyone. Tell them that they were forced to do bad stuff or their dark secrets would be revealed to everyone, which even when they did it still happened. Kenny could be proven to be acting in self defense with the guy in the woods, because he was led out there and didnt know what would happen, and the guy attacked him. He never hurt or killed anybody, he would still have the money and it'd be returned to the bank. That combined with young age and his evidence, maybe jury would be sympathetic and he'd get a somewhat light sentence. Or they would heavily look down on him for the kid porn, I dunno. It's still something. Do you think it would warrant the FBI to do an investigation and track stuff? Since these people were just hiding personal secrets that these unknown people used to manipulate them into doing real crimes. That's what I think anyway. Basically what I'm saying is, there is still a bit of hope at the end despite how dark and bleak it is. But it's mostly bleak lol. Excellent regardless.

So you wouldn't consider kiddie porn a "real" crime?!

It's disgusting and perverted but no I don't view it as a real crime. What he was doing by himself in his bedroom in his house is his business imo, he was not hurting anybody. And if he has those urges, it's better to release it, by himself, than to go out and do real harm to kids. Obviously he was embarassed and ashamed of it, he didnt want anybody to know. it was a fetish and many people have strange and disturbing fetishes. He was only 19, a middle aged man would be way creepier. I am not really defending it, I'm just saying whatever someone does by themselves without harming another person, is their business, and their own personal issue. If it reaches the point that he harms real people then yeah it's a crime deserving punishment.

So the kids involved in the making of pornographic imagery aren't victims and it isn't a crime?
Just because all he's doing is looking at it doesn't mean he's innocent. He is aiding and abetting.
There's always victims when it comes to child pornography.

Agreed - the troll face was epic. It caught me off guard, and I cracked the heck up.

That said, I thought the option to report this nonsense to authorities was on the table the whole time. Just call the cops. At least contact a trusted adult (probably not your mother, since it's the most embarrassing thing at that age).

To the person who's saying kiddy porn is a crime, too, yes indeed! But Kenny isn't guilty of making child porn. That's on the pornographers, irrelevant to the characters in this story (at least ... that's not Kenny's fault).
