(Hated in the Nation): I agreed with Jo Powers.


Though it appeared that she had written the article as clickbait, and it was universally vilified, reading what we saw of the article, I agreed with her completely.

Defeat awkwardness with maximum ridiculosity.

Sadly I thought the same thing. Setting yourself on fire in front of children and injuring those trying to you help you is selfish.

I didn't see what she'd written, but that makes sense.

Society, especially on the internet, tends to dogpile on somebody new each week (or day) and even when I agree with the angry masses, I think it's crappy the way everybody feels the need to jump on the same person.

With that in mind, I rather like the ending to that episode more now. People using the hashtag aren't very good or smart. Just an angry villager all too eager to grab a torch.
