China's government is trying to implement a social rating system where it analyzes citizen's online records. I really, really, really, really hope this doesn't become real.

Hell, it's happening everywhere else, too. We crave people's "likes" and affirmation via social media to the point where we mold our lives, or at least the presentation of it, around securing approval and satisfaction of others. You don't need a state-run program, we do it to ourselves willingly.
