Playtest: the smartest/greatest CGI use ever
... yet, it should've been a feature film.
The entire movie was super fresh to me and something I've personally never seen before.
It was a true nightmare LSD trip, very simple but extremely suspenseful.
But the last 15 minutes were extremely predictable, it felt like they had to cut it.
Repo Men (2010) had a similar plot-twist, but they used it smarter, IMO.
Half human/half spider looked amazing, reminded me of DOOM and other classic horror sci-fi games.
It should've gotten deeper into his fears, exploring and mixing altogether. The fact, that phenomenal things didn't look real (generated by computer), but were extremely realistic made so much sense. They could've cheated us to a whole new level. It would've been awesome.
