Nosedive ending.

I really like the episode but didn't understand the symbolism between her in a cell and She was yelling back-and-forth with the gentleman in the other cell. Thoughts?

They had both lost their rating in society that they had probably worked their whole lives to maintain, and for the first time they were free to say whatever they wanted with no consequences. Notice the joy on their faces as they're exchanging insults. It's like the quote from the film Fight Club; "It's only after losing everything that you're free to do anything." It's a really powerful scene.

This is exactly what it meant. I really liked the ending.

Oh I don't know. Too complicated for me, that.

Oh for God's sake!

It's supposed to be ironic because, even though they're in prison, they're the most free they've been in a long time. They can say whatever they want without the consequence of being downvoted.

It is ironic and highly entertaining. And for BM, probably one of the most "upbeat" endings, so to speak...

This is also exactly what I felt from this ending, and I enjoyed it a lot. After all she went through, Lacie really deserved it. It was absolutely thrilling to witness this creative and enthusiastic exchange.

BDH really is a fantastic actress.
