'Sitaharam' is an epic love story set in the backdrop of war. Ashwini Dutt is producing this film under the banner of Swapna Cinema under Vyjayanthi Movies. The producers have selected leading actors for key roles in this film, which is being ambitiously shaped under the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrinal Thakur.

While Rashmika Mandanna will play the role of Afrin, Sumanth will be seen as Brigadier Vishnu Sharma. The role of Balaji was recently introduced. Famous director Tarun Bhaskar is acting in this role. In the poster released introducing Tarun Bhaskar as Balaji, his look drinking a cool drink is impressive.
