The real mathematical genius
Turing was a great talent and a great innovator concerning the building of computers, but the mathematical genius was actual in Sweden.
His name was Arne Beurling. He broke the german code from the T52 that was considered more sophisticated than the Enigma (893,622,318,929,520,960 different variations), in 14 days with just pen and paper.
So one man did in two weeks what a whole national team managed to do in months. But I guess that wouldn't make much of a movie? ;)
Sweden knew of Germany's attack on Russia (Barbarossa) for example, but since Sweden never revealed how they got the information, the Russians didn't believe it.
