Fun Fact: The British sold Enigma machines to 3rd world countries after

Wonder if anyone knew this.

After the war, as the colonies of the British Empire were looking to go independent. The Brits foresaw this and sold Enigma machines to them, telling them they were unbreakable code machines. So if ever there was a revolution being planned or something, the Brits could listen in on everything.

Crafty aren't they?

Many Enigma machines were captured from the Germans by the Allies, as they fought through.

And after the war, they were still widely considered secure, especially by the third world.
