Dreamcast was playing on!
Dreamcast still lives on apparently! Although I don't know what game he was playing on, Soldier of fortune?
I still have my Dreamcast and play it from time to time! :D
I was going to post on what games console he was playing on. I thought it looked like a Dreamcast, but his stepdad called in an Xbox a couple of seconds later.
I didn't recognise the game either - looked a bit more advanced than most Dreamcast games I played.

I thought it was a gamecube when I saw the actual console!
EDIT: just went and checked and yes it is a dreamcast (pic link below) but it is in the same kind of purple that the gamecub was. The controller looked like a gamecube one too.

shareHe may very well have been, but the physical console that was shown was a purple dreamcast as seen in the screen I took and posted in my last post.
EDIT: in later inspection, the console and controller he was playing on was in fact a Sega Saturn!!
No, the console is a Dreamcast, looks like a sonic special edition. Not sure what controller he was using.
